About me:

Zoltan Mityok

MSc, RPF, RPBio, AAg, ISA Certified Arborist®

Ever since teaching English in Honduras as a teenager, I knew I wanted to work alongside communities in managing forests and the resources they depend on.

Since then, I’ve completed a thesis-based Master’s in environmental data analysis, registered as a Professional Forester and Applied Biologist, helped establish a successful consulting company, and built over eight years of consulting experience.

Today, I work with clients to holistically tackle environmental management challenges and turn them into opportunities. Not only in forests, but anywhere requiring a balance between conservation and community livelihoods. This is why I've focused on acquiring skills in a number of different fields.

My qualifications and experiences span snow hydrology, wildfire risk assessment, forestry, cartography, coding and AI algorithm development, operations supervision, applied biology, arboriculture, agrology, and project management.

I am also currently enrolled in Forest Carbon Management and Modeling micro-certificates from the University of British Columbia, in Vancouver Canada.

I look forward to partnering with you to design tailored solutions that benefit both your community and your local environment.
